After a long stay-at-home season due to Covid-19, Michael and Britt decided to take a long weekend getaway to Charleston, SC. Michael decided … this was the perfect time to propose! The two love Charleston so much that they almost decided to call it home before landing in the Atlanta area. Michael, being a very wise man, decided that the only way to pull off a perfect proposal in a different city was to hire Jena from Propose Charleston to handle the logistics and styling. Jena scouted a perfect location on Sullivan’s Island with a view of the Ravenal Bridge! She styled the picnic with flowers, pillows, light nibbles, and of course, champagne … Dom Perignon was Michael’s pick! And of course, Michael wanted to entire moment and celebration on the beach captured! It was so fun hearing all the details from Michael on the front end … like sending Britt to have her nails done … and buying a new pair of shorts … so that the pictures would be great! Michael wanted the proposal moment to be perfect … and of course, their dog Woodford had to be part of it! One of my favorite picnic details was the dog toys, treats, and water bowl under a custom sign! Jena literally thought of everything! The whole proposal surprise was a success and though Britt had a feeling it was coming, her response was incredible: YES! I KNEW IT! The sweetest reaction ever! After the two popped champagne, we had so much fun walking the beach and taking pictures. That newly engaged glow was so fun to capture! Cheers to Michael and Britt!
