Hi, I'm Jen.

Family session at the iconic Pitt Street Bridge

Nov 19, 2020

A family session at the iconic Pitt Street Bridge with one of your best friends … it just doesn’t get any better!  My sentimental heart can hardly handle just how special it was to photograph one of my best friend’s family!  I met Ashley and her husband Brian about seven years ago, right after Ben and I got married.  We’ve walked through a lot of life together … chasing career goals, becoming parents, buying/selling homes.  We’ve celebrated and we’ve grieved, we’ve had lots of coffee … and also lots of wine.  She’s a gem of a friend and I’m so grateful to have walked through so many different seasons of life together.  That history of friendship, makes these photos so, so, so dear to me.  And seeing them styled on the walls of their home is just the icing on the cake!

We chose Pitt Street Bridge over in Mount Pleasant‘s Old Village for their location.  Though we caught a very sunny, windy, and chilly morning, I am so happy with how the images are just so happy and colorful.  And the girls in their blue dresses were just perfect against the green palm trees and marsh!  I just love how unique this location is for a family session!
