As a Charleston Wedding Photographer, it’s always a treat to photograph Bridal Portraits at Magnolia Plantation!!  Charleston always gives us such a gorgeous backdrop for this sweet, southern tradition!

Over the weekend, Shay and Jacob said, “I do” in Pawley’s Island, SC followed by a gorgeous reception in Georgetown, SC!  (Check out their gorgeous wedding here on the blog!)  And that means that I finally get to share Shay’s bridal portraits!

Having worked for bridal designer, Modern Trousseau, bridal portraits are one of my favorite types of shoots!  Shay chose Magnolia Plantation and The Mills House in downtown Charleston for her portraits.  Her blush gown with the gorgeous lace detail was such a dream to photograph.  The gardens were a perfect setting for the soft, southern, romance of her gown.  And the pink wall of The Mills House was just oh-SO-Shay!  This girl has the sweetest southern style and is so in touch with her own style … she should pretty much be a style blogger or influencer!  (Just saying, Shay!!)
