When Jena from Propose Charleston came to me with her design inspiration for Joel’s upcoming proposal, a Charleston proposal flower aisle, I knew it was going to be a stunner.  Joel found a hidden gem of an AirBnb in Moncks Corner, SC with an incredible waterfront view.  Nothing says summertime in the south like a view of that low country marsh!

Joel planned a Charleston getaway for India to escape the hustle and bustle of life in DC.  Little did India know, Joel also invited their closest friends and family as a huge surprise!

She walked down an aisle lined with flowers.

Jena’s flower vision was an absolute dream for the proposal. I mean, a waterfront Charleston Proposal Flower Aisle that looked like it was straight out of a magazine!  She installed a rose garden with hundreds of individual flowers placed in rows to form an aisle.  And that wasn’t all!  She also created a beautiful photo wall covered with greenery that displayed photos of Joel and India.  These incredible details paired with the gorgeous waterfront view were such a surprise for India!  It was just perfection!  India was SO surprised.  In fact, her reaction had us all in tears.  Happy tears of course!

After Joel proposed, there was yet another surprise waiting.  Just as India was letting the beauty of the moment, and ring sink in, she looked up and found her closest friends and family with champagne in hand, ready to celebrate!  Her reaction to seeing her friends was absolutely epic.  Also, cue tears, again!
