This Lowndes Grove Charleston Elopement was an absolute dream to photograph!  For years, my husband Ben, of Wed on Canvas, has painted weddings at this stunning venue located downtown.  Whitney and Drayton chose Lowndes Grove as the backdrop for their stylish elopement here in Charleston.  It’s one of my favorite venues, with a low-country marsh view that’s like none other!

Whitney got ready that morning at The River House and met Drayton out on the lawn for their first look.  Her gown was absolute perfection, with the high neck line, illusion details, and classic Italian Guipure lace.  She was an absolutely stunning bride!  Christy Loftin officiated their ceremony that was virtually streamed to their closest friends and family!  After saying I do, popping champagne, and cutting the cake, their sweet dog, Lola, joined for photos.  And of course, Lola dressed for the day with a coordinating floral wreath collar!

Every moment of the day was beautiful, meaningful, and filled with smiles and laughter.  I feel so, so blessed to have been chosen to capture this incredible day for Whitney and Drayton.
