Well it’s official that Prairie Artisan Ales’, Seasick Crocodile, is officially one of my favorite seasonal craft beers!  As a Charleston Branding Photographer, who also loves craft beer, I love taking on personal projects and photographing my favorite brews!  It makes my heart so happy.  Check out my recent post on Westbrook Brewing Co here A Day in the Life of a Charleston Brand Photographer!

Unpopular opinion: I do not usually like seasonal brews … or sour beer!

My husband and I love dropping into the House of Brews that just opened up near us.  It’s a fun little biergarten + beer shop located here in Charleston, SC.  I decided randomly to pick up a hand full of seasonal craft beer to try … because, tis the season.

Since I’m not typically a Sour Beer lover, the Seasick Crocodile was the last to try. And that was my biggest mistake.  I’m officially team Prairie Artisan Ales after this one.  In hindsight, I do remember seeing the keg kick with lightening speed when it was on draft at House of Brews.

Sour ale with cranberries, ginger, cinnamon & nutmeg … it’s pretty much Christmas day in beer form.  If  this is what sour beers are about, my little IPA loving heart can get behind this!  What seasonal beer (or wine) are you loving this time of year?
