As a Charleston Branding Photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding in the photography world than a branding session for small businesses like Pluff Mud Mercantile. Gina, the owner and maker behind these beautiful candles and soaps. They are both beautiful to look at AND beautiful to smell! Tucked away in a cute shopping area in West Ashley, (next to one of my favorite restaurants, Betty Lous!) her shop is so happy and provides a fun selection of not only her candles and soaps, but also a curated selection of Charleston goods.
I had so much fun photographing her signature collection of candles and having fun with all the soaps! I mean, are the labels not the happiest, most adorable addition to any bathroom!
Each soap is hand poured and topped with one of the ingredients found in the soap. To say this is an art is an understatement! I had so much fun getting lost creating, composing, and photographing her amazing products. Throughout the shoot, I loved sharing the progress, and I felt like I saw Gina fall in love with her work all over again! That’s what Branding Photography is all about for me. Capturing the magic that’s already there for the world … and social media … to see!
If you’re looking for a perfect small gift, I highly recommend a quick pop in to Pluff Mud Mercantile! What a joy to serve them with Charleston Branding Photography! It’s the cutest and I so believe in shopping local when you’re able!
