Engagement Photos in downtown Charleston are always a great idea!  Delanie and Bennett opted for a destination Engagement session here in Charleston!  As they are planning for their July wedding, Delanie wanted to take photos in a location near the water with lots of greens.  They planned a Charleston getaway and landed on The Battery as the starting place for their photos.

Delanie arrived in a stunning hot pink dress that popped perfectly for their downtown Charleston Engagement Photos!  (And of course, Bennett was looking dapper in his suit!)  Photographing along The Battery on a Sunday afternoon requires a lot of patience.  Delanie and Bennett were amazingly patient as we waited for the perfect break in foot traffic to get clear shots that didn’t have people walking in the background.  (You can hardly tell it was shoulder to shoulder walking traffic downtown that day!

From the Battery to Longitude Lane for their Downtown Charleston Engagement Photos

After walking along the Battery, we had to make a stop at the gorgeous Longitude Lane!  It’s a personal favorite of mine!  Her pink dress was perfect!  They twirled along the charming cobblestones as I clicked away.  It was so, so gorgeous … and perfect weather!

Needless to say, I am thrilled to share their Engagement Photos!  I had so much fun meeting this sweet couple and I know their wedding day will be an absolute DREAM!
