Are you really even a Charleston Proposal Photographer if you haven’t photographed a proposal at downtown Charleston’s White Point Garden? The truth is, this was at the top of my bucket list and Andrew’s proposal to Alexandria helped me check it off. Surrounded by a waterfront view, the Live Oak trees dripping with Spanish Moss are just a southern dream! There’s something so romantic about these trees. And the Gazebo in the center of it all is the perfect spot to pop the question!
Jena from Propose Charleston shared Andrew had chosen White Point Garden and needed a photographer to capture the big moment. I was so excited to hear that Andrew was going all out and hiring floral designer, Vero Designs, to create an even more magical entrance to the Gazebo. The location is gorgeous on it’s own, but having a floral designer bring in flowers adds such a thoughtful, and gorgeous touch! Andrew didn’t stop there, surprise #2 was an adorable picnic to follow the bended knee moment. And what Charleston picnic is complete without Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits and mimosas!
Alexandria was indeed, surprised! They enjoyed their sweet picnic and took in the moment, just to themselves! And that’s when Andrew unveiled surprise #3, a mini engagement session! We strolled down the streets South of Broad twirling, exploring, and taking pictures every step of the way!
Cheers to this gorgeous couple and their Charleston Proposal at White Point Garden! Let the wedding planning officially!
xo,
Jen
