As a Charleston Wedding Photographer, there’s nothing like a Charleston Wedding at Cannon Green.  It’s charming, historic Charleston meets South Beach Miami vibes are so unique, nestled downtown Charleston.  Britany and Chris chose this incredible venue as their backdrop for their ceremony and reception.  Last spring, I met Britany and Chris for their engagement session downtown (check their photos out here!) and immediately knew their wedding day would be so much fun to photograph.

I began the day with my second shooter at the girl’s VRBO downtown and it was amazing!  I highly recommend this idea if you’re looking for a great getting ready spot.  This condo had 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, and loft with incredible natural light that floods the space.  Haberdash is such a great spot for the guys, too!  Perfectly masculine and guaranteed to be so fun for the guys as they are getting ready.

Charming Charleston meets Modern Miami vibes

Cannon Green was made for photos.  We began the day with Britany and Chris’ first look in front of the iconic kelly green doors of Cannon Green.  It was absolute magic and Britany was just glowing!  And the best part, I got to shoot alongside long time friend and videographer, Drew, of Dock House Digital!  From there we wandered through the property taking portraits with the two of them and their whole wedding party.  It was perfection!

My favorite part of Cannon Green is the Courtyard that’s lined with Palm Trees, lush greenery, and modern fountains.  Their ceremony was absolutely stunning there in front a gorgeous green arbor.  It’s perfectly southern and modern, all at once!  And the smile on Chris’ face as Britany walked down the aisle was just precious!

Britany and Chris chose Lux & Union to design their florals throughout the day.  Their reception was just stunning!  I love that they styled lush greenery from the ceiling rafters and had beautiful arrangements on each table.  As a photographer, I got a little teared up when I walked by their photo wall that was filled with photos from their engagement session!

Everyone danced the night away in style with Midnight City Band.  It was such a beautiful day and such a fun evening! I am over the moon excited to share a little glimpse of some of my favorite images from their wedding day!  Such an honor to capture each and every moment for this amazing couple!!
